The short version. Quantify collects the minimum needed to run your account, sync your learning progress, and improve the app. We do not sell your data, and we do not show third-party advertising. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from inside the app.
This Privacy Policy explains how Quantify ("Quantify", "we", "us") handles personal data when you use the Quantify mobile app and this website (together, the "Service"). It applies to the app published under bundle identifier com.matei.quantify.
The data controller responsible for your personal data is Matei Tudor Dumitru, an individual established in Romania, operating the app under the name "Quantify". You can reach the controller at quantifyapp.help@gmail.com.
1. Information we collect
We collect only what the Service needs to function. The table below lists each category, why we have it, and where it lives.

We do not collect your contacts, precise location, health data, or financial account details. Payment card details are handled entirely by Apple — we never see them.
2. How we use your information
- Operate your account and sync progress across your devices.
- Run gameplay features — streaks, XP, achievements, and the global leaderboard.
- Send the daily reminder you opted into (you can turn this off in your device settings at any time).
- Provide and restore your Quantify Pro subscription.
- Measure and improve the product, and diagnose crashes.
- Communicate with you about your account, security, and material changes to the Service.
We process this data to perform our contract with you (running the app), on the basis of your consent (notifications, analytics where required by law), and for our legitimate interest in keeping the Service secure and improving it.
3. Service providers
We share data only with the processors that make the Service run. Each acts on our instructions under its own privacy terms:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and profile storage.
- RevenueCat and Apple — subscription management and payment processing.
- PostHog — product analytics and error tracking.
- Expo — app delivery, over-the-air updates, and push notifications.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers.
4. Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, progress, and associated records from our systems. Backups and processor logs are purged on their normal rotation. Some records may be retained where required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons.
5. Your rights & choices
- Delete your account. Go to Profile → account settings → delete account. This permanently removes your data.
- Access & correction. View and edit your username and photo in the app; email us for anything else.
- Notifications. Toggle push reminders in your device's system settings.
- Regional rights. Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA), you may have additional rights to access, port, or object to processing. Contact us to exercise them.
6. Children
Quantify is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Authentication is handled by Supabase, and payments by Apple. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
8. International transfers
Our processors may store and process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
